Position Summary:

Director of Corporate Sales; position may be located anywhere within the U.S. near a major airport in the Central Region (Montana, Dakotas, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Texas, Louisiana)
The Director of Corporate Sales position is a high level, field based, customer facing role. Its purpose is to build long term relationships with large, complex Health Systems to grow Carestream’s market share across the entire spectrum of our portfolio offerings. This is the key position for maintaining and developing our footprint in these selected accounts, requiring the matrix management of a broad cross section of geographically dispersed sales and service personnel, corporate-based internal stakeholders, and external channel partners. Success criteria for this role includes achieving an annual sales target, growing the Carestream brand placement, executing on other strategic relationship objectives, and satisfying customers, managing the IDN and GPO directors effectively and professionally.
Owns the sales and business development goals, as well as the executive and member relationships, between Carestream and assigned Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN).

Position Responsibilities:

 Achieve bookings, revenue, customer satisfaction, and budget targets
• Ensure ethical business practices are maintained
• Develop/implement integrated account-specific sales and marketing strategies for business across product lines
• Matrix manage and orchestrate all Carestream resources to achieve National IDN or account objectives
• Direct the management of all sales cycle activities required to win sales including opportunity identification, sales strategy, key customer contact management, competitive posturing, proposal creation, deal negotiations, and contract/PO management
• Oversee proper sales activity to grow funnel for future business continuity and growth
• Partner with business unit leaders to optimize sales, service, and customer support
• Build customer loyalty and satisfaction as measured by the Net Promoter Score
• Champion the customer experience - drive customer needs to the internal development and support team
• Create personal working relationships with key customer corporate based leaders as well as regional and/or distributed local key players as needed
• Co-create long term business plans with IDNs and National Accounts, monitor and execute those plans; conduct regular meeting with IDN executive leaders to facilitate smooth business management
• Represent the Area’s interests internally to executive management: forecasting, product and business needs, resource requirements, etc.
• Informally coach, advise, and develop internal personnel working with accounts to elevate performance
• Lead the internal team on proper use and maintenance of CRM data and information
• Support of VA/VISN and DOD meetings in the geography on an as-needed basis.

Required Skills & Education:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience; MBA a plus 5+ years sales or senior level experience focused on healthcare capital equipment or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years GPO/IDN expertise
  • Expertise in medical imaging equipment, IT, and related workflow

Desired Skills:

  • Previous experience in complex, multi-entity account management a plus
