Position Summary:
The MIS & Compensation – AM/ DM is responsible for planning, implementation and Operational Execution of Sales Compensation for India. This individual must be a driver, team oriented, possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and be able to work collaboratively with various levels of local management and across functions to accomplish positive results. Specifically, this individual will support the design, implementation and execution of the compensation plans working with Sales Management (Product and Service Sales), Sales, the Regional Sales Compensation Manager and the IT organizations. In addition, this roll will also take on ownership of the Performance Management reporting for India
Position Responsibilities:
Compensation Plan Setup
•Collaborate with the Regional Compensation Manager to design and finalize annual compensation plans for the India cluster.
•Develop and deliver training programs based on global guidelines to ensure full understanding of the compensation plans.
•Establish annual sales targets for the sales team within the compensation systems and distribute individual plan documents to each team member.
•In addition, work with the business to establish annual sales and service targets for Channel Partners as well.
•Serve as the primary point of contact for sales and service teams regarding questions or clarifications related to their compensation plans.
Compensation Plan Execution
•Work closely with Sales Leadership, Human Resources, and Finance to manage and administer the sales incentive plan in line with the regional schedule.
•Coordinate with the Regional Sales Compensation Manager and IT to implement technical solutions that support regional compensation processes, with a strong focus on process improvement and automation.
•Ensure accurate calculation and verification of sales and service incentive payouts.
•Communicate payout details and schedules to HR and Sales Leadership, addressing and resolving any related queries. Handle ad-hoc requests for compensation or performance data to support scenario planning or audit requirements.
Performance Tracking and dashboards
•Own and manage the Global Performance Management Tool for India.
•Leveraging Power BI to deliver real-time performance and pricing insights to the Sales and Leadership teams.
•Conduct regular performance reviews with Sales Leadership, offering analytical insights to support strategic decision-making and enhance team effectiveness.
•Provide timely support to the business by developing and maintaining performance dashboards as needed.
Forecasting
•Owing the Global Forecasting Tool and Process for India in collaboration with the Finance team.
•Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts to aid in strategic decision-making and planning.
•Support the Cadence, MOR, Estimation and QBR (Quarterly Business Review) process
Project management:
•Handle specific projects as identified by Operations Manager for Business Growth, improving Sales effectiveness and driving productivity
Required Skills & Education:
•Graduate in any discipline. Postgraduate degree in Data Analytics preferred.
•8-10 years’ experience in business and finance
•Strong analytical expertise and structured approach
•Strong quantitative skills and the ability to think critically
•Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint & ERP (SAP)
•Hands on experience in Advance Excel & PowerBI
•Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work
•Excellent communication, presentation and relationship skills
•Problem solving capabilities
•Data analysis
•Excellent verbal and written English-language skills
•Strong team-player and driver (particularly across a virtual network)
Desired Skills:
Certification in Data Analytics will be a plus
