Position Summary:

This role is responsible for maintaining the master databases for materials, customers, general ledger accounts and vendors). Ensure the requirements have the right information and release them when the process has been completed. Strong teamwork to ensure that all the requirements will be made in a timely manner to avoid affecting the metric of the department. Improve processes and document them to ensure standard work.

Position Responsibilities:

•    Responsible for the following Master Data domains in scope: Materials, Pricing & Customer master data etc. (Materials Master Data Domain Experience is mandatory)
•    Support the business with completing and processing their business master data entry requests utilizing the World Wide Master Data Operations’ request processes, forms and systems.  
•    Confirm that data changes are submitted by the appropriate business requester and approved by the correct decision authorities. 
•    Create and maintain SAP data requested by the business for the defined business objects, using templates, tools and general communication methods
•    Systematically improve data quality by initiating corrective actions.
•    Authorized to accept or decline master data requests based on corporate guidelines and data governance rules and procedures.
•    Provide backup operational support as required for the WW Master Data Operations.  Processing master data requests and tasks when other members of the organization are not available.
•    Responsible for master data incident management when data defects are detected.  Take ownership for a master data incident and act as the primary level of escalation.
•    Provide master data reports to business resources as requested.
•    Ensure adherence to company data management policies and standards.  Assist in data related audit activities as required.
•    Lead the associated master data operations to achieve request cycle time and data quality goals.
•    Maintain close working relationship with IT-Master Data Team.
•    Recommend and lead process improvement opportunities and other initiatives.
•    Communicate data standards and promote quality data management practices.
•    Act as escalation point for unresolved issues and queries.
•    Responsible for data collection tools (i.e. Customer Master Requester – CMR)
•    Run SAP reports as necessary
•    Audit price overrides in orders entered in  SAP.
 

Required Skills & Education:

•    Bachelors or Master’s degree in any stream
•    3-5 years’ relevant experience in master data domain
