$115,000 - $150,000.  This range reflects Carestream’s good faith estimate to pay fairly as starting wage. Offers will be tailored within the range based on the selected candidate’s experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process, as well as geographic market differentials for the position.

Position Summary:

The Marketing Manager is a global position with business responsibility for all aspects of Carestream’s Digital Medical Solutions platform; from the development of Roadmap Strategies, Product Marketing Materials, Commercial Trainings and Competitive Intel.   The position can be located in our Rochester, NY headquarters (preferred) or remote in the U.S.  

  • Develop product positioning, key messaging and value propositions for our products
  • Work closely with the business and commercial team; to gather and understand customer needs, pain points and desired gains and reflect in the development of our value proposition.
  • Partner with the Product Line Manager in the support of all commercial activities
  • Ability to influence and present information to all levels of the organization
  • Coordinates with multiple discipline as required to drive completion of projects as needed

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns and strategies to support product, business unit and overall company revenue goals.
  • Create strategic marketing plans that provide a unique and consistent reach to target audiences
  • Produce collateral materials including presentations with clear defines product positioning, key messaging and value proposition
  • Support sales with research, competitive profile information and tracking industry trends
  • Work with regional sales and marketing teams to align the global plan with each region; communicate WW materials and tools to the field.
  • Work with the technical writing team to localize content and publish to the web.
  • Work closely with Product Line Management to understand the product development roadmaps, assess how these developments translate to benefits valued by customers and reflect these in the marketing plan.
  • Effectively partner and collaborate with regional market leaders and other functions to ensure proper inputs and VoC to the product development team
  • Provide real-time support to Sales and Specialists in the region.
  • Work closely with marketing relevant functions and each region team to lead product launch; drive global marketing strategy and ensure regions to localize and execute.

Required Skills & Education:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Engineering or Medical Technology and a minimum of five (5+) years of strategic and tactical marketing experience. 

Relevant Experience 

  •  7 years of experience developing compelling product launches, product sales training and working on go-to-market programs that have included: Business research, Marketing communications and Product Marketing.  
  • Managerial experience, including strategic planning and execution, especially in Global, Regional and Country marketing efforts
  • Direct and distributor marketing experience
  • Working knowledge of  public relations, social media, email marketing, event management, advertising
  • Medical Equipment and/or IT Marketing experience
  • Working knowledge of a global / international marketing organizations
  • Financial planning and budget management 

Skills & Competencies 

  • Expert knowledge of key marketing tactics and strategies, providing consultation and guidance on best approach to achieve desired results. Proven marketing tactics such as promotions, campaigns, product messaging, planning and pricing.
  • Well organized and detail oriented.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills.
  • Experience developing product Sales Training programs, ideally of a technical nature.
  • Comfortable getting voice of customer input.
  • Proficient in the use of software tools such as: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to occasionally travel International and Domestic.
