Position Summary:

The Americas Business Intelligence Manager is responsible for providing the Americas Organization with relevant market, industry, economic and financial information to enable strategic decision making in all aspects of our business. As a member of the Strategy Group the Business Intelligence Manager is expected not only to be able to acquire relevant data but to aggregate such data, interpret, conclude, and propose potential courses of action to identify gaps, threats, opportunities and competitive advantages and propose the strategies to improve Carestream´s position and performance in the different markets where we operate.

Position Responsibilities:

•    Assess market trends, priorities, competitive landscape, and gaps to address customer needs.
•    Conducts competitive analysis for Carestream Solutions in the different markets of the Americas and provides verifiable data on competition in terms of offerings, pricing, share of market, trends, and overall performance.
•    Analyzes industry trends in terms of volume and value growth for each one of the segments where Carestream competes. Identifies the different variables that influence the trends, establishes correlations between the variables and conducts future analysis to determine where the market is going and where Carestream must go to win in each market. 
•    Responsible for collection, interpretation, and presentation of key performance indicators of sales, strategy, and marketing organizations such as Share of Market, Average Pricing, Conversion Rates, Coverage and Velocity.
•    Works closely with Sales, Sales Operations, Finance and Business Management to build mid- and long-term forecasts of our business.
•    Works with Finance and Marketing to determine Return on Marketing Investment on key marketing initiatives.
•    As part of the Strategic Planning Process (SPP) team, works to quantify addressable market size, value and trends for new solutions and product launches.
•    Acquire and understand political and economic situation of the key countries in the region and assess and predict impact of decisions, regulation, economic shifts, and policy in the businesses where we operate and clearly and opportunely communicate to all key stakeholders. 

Required Skills & Education:


Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business, Mathematics, Finance or Marketing.


Relevant Experience

  • 7 years of experience in acquisition and interpretation of business information.  
  • Experience with building and maintaining complex quantitative models to analyze markets and competitive landscape.
  • Experience presenting to high level executives.
