Compensation $20.00 to $21.00 per hour depending on experience. 

*This range reflects Carestream’s good faith estimate to pay fairly as starting wage. Offers will be tailored within the range based on the selected candidate’s experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process, as well as geographic market differentials for the position.

Position Summary:

The Manufacturing Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records through routine cycle counting, inventory audits, and reconciliation activities. This role works closely with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Materials Management teams to identify inventory discrepancies, investigate root causes, and ensure inventory accuracy supports efficient manufacturing operations.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods inventory.
  • Verify inventory quantities and locations within the warehouse and production areas.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and determine root causes.
  • Reconcile physical inventory counts with ERP/MRP system records.
  • Enter and maintain accurate inventory data within company systems.
  • Work with Production, Receiving, Shipping, and Purchasing teams to resolve inventory issues.
  • Monitor inventory movements and ensure proper transaction processing.
  • Assist with annual physical inventory and inventory audits.
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and inventory control processes.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Generate inventory reports and communicate findings to management.

Required Skills & Education:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of inventory control (cycle counting, warehouse, and manufacturing experience).
  • Experience using ERP, MRP, SAP or inventory management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired Skills:

  • Associate degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement principles.
