Compensation $23.00 to $28.00 per hour depending on years of experience and skills.
*This range reflects Carestream’s good faith estimate to pay fairly as starting wage. Offers will be tailored within the range based on the selected candidate’s experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process, as well as geographic market differentials for the position.
Position Summary:
As a Document Control System Coordinator located at 1049 Ridge Road in Rochester, NY will be responsible for Document Control processes for applicable Carestream system(s). Hours for this role are 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday with a start time of between 6am and 7:30am daily.
We will look at all applications, beginning with local to the Rochester area first.
- Content expert for Carestream Document Control system(s) including administration
- Review documents for correct content and accuracy
- Creates and/or updates documents per change request process
- Release of procedures, forms, etc. and process documentation
- Approval, Escalation for document change requests
- Training Coordination per applicable Carestream system
- Maintain job codes for production operators
- Reports & Status updates as requested
- Working with Engineering on Engineering Change Notice (ECN) releases
- Manage access to document control database
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide support for compliance audits (training records, documentation)
- Monitor personnel training weekly/monthly
- Weekly audits of applicable Carestream Systems for overdue document reviews
- Daily management of documentation reviews for applicable Carestream Systems, list generated automatically
- All other duties as required.
Required Skills & Education:
- HS Diploma, AS degree desirable or equivalent experience.
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Word, Excel Proficiency and knowledge of Powerpoint.
- Strong attention to detail, concise and documented follow through.
- Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills which leads to working cooperatively with cross functional teams.
- Strong experience working independently and meeting deadlines.
- Must be able to work the required hours listed above.
Desired Skills:
- Working knowledge of MasterControl (Documents and training system modules)
- Work experience in a regulated medical device or pharmaceuticals industry
- Experience with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Decision-making and problem solving
- Planning/Organizing and ability to multi-task
- Teamwork: go above and beyond and/or outside responsibilities
