Position Summary:

The Global Marketing Director is responsible for the definition and execution of our brand and product marketing strategy, digital and content marketing, channel marketing, public relations and customer experience.

Position Responsibilities:

•    Team leader: defines global strategy, goals, works daily on projects, oversees activities, provides hands-on back-up & support to a team of global managers and specialists:
•    Global Product Marketing Managers (Medical and NDT)
•    Global Digital Media and Public Relations Manager 
•    Global Creative Director
•    Global Manager Customer Insights 
•    Global Lifecycle Marketing specialist 
•    Global Marketing Specialist Sales Enablement and Events (RSNA) 
•    Responsible for the definition and execution of the Global Product Marketing Strategy (in collaboration with Business General Managers, Product Marketing Managers and Product Line Managers).
•    Responsible for customer insight or VoC strategy and plan, lead the global product launch activities for new offerings by working with PLM, RBMs and region marketing team.
•    Lead product marketing team to build and refine the value proposition, messaging, commercial strategy, awareness & advocacy plans, product training plans and customer testimonials.
•    Manages the Global Marketing Priorities and Budget which includes:
•    Global Marketing Sales, General and Administrative expenses (SG&A).
•    Global Advertising Spend 
•    Marketing collaterals and sales enablement support materials and platforms
•    Global Public Relations 
•    Digital/Social media
•    Global Campaigns 
•    Responsible for the planning and coordination of company Strategic Planning Process which results in the determination of the company technology roadmap and budget. 
•    Responsible for the definition and execution of the corporate branding strategy.
•    Main liaison to the regional presidents and ELT to assure that the Global Marketing Organization is providing the regions with the value to enable successful sales of all of our solutions in their markets and to provide the Global team with the key regional and market insights to continuously improve the contribution of the global team to the company. 
•    Responsible for leading the product marketing team in the contribution and execution of successful product launch process which includes all aspects of new product launch from definition of customer based value propositions to the right enablement of sales teams through marketing training, materials and support. 

Required Skills & Education:

•    Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, marketing or related field
•    MBA or advanced business degree

Relevant Experience 
•    10+ years’ experience in medical device or pharmaceutical marketing
•    Working knowledge of a global / international marketing organizations
•    Financial planning and budget management of multi-million-dollar budgets
•    Knowledge of Marketing Strategy including competitive strategy, innovation, value proposition design, branding, communications, digital media and demand generation.

•    Strong business and analytical skill for complex problem solving, demonstrated ability to understand the business problem and to use analytical skills to research and resolve

•    Keen ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
•    Ability to inspire, ignite passion and motivate individuals and teams (virtual & co-located)
•    Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management
•    Possesses most of the skills of an aspiring CMO
