Compensation:  $61,000 - $76,200 per year

*This range reflects Carestream’s good faith estimate to pay fairly as starting wage. Offers will be tailored within the range based on the selected candidate’s experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process, as well as geographic market differentials for the position.

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the protection, safeguarding, and security of personnel, visitors, and assets.
The incumbent will monitor day to day operations for all Carestream locations. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the Director Global Security to help drive the strategic and operational directives for the department.  
  • Manage daily operational tasks including oversight of contract security operations, access control, CCTV footage and work with security liaison resources when applicate in remote locations globally.
  • Provide immediate response to emergencies and issues that arise (24/7).
  • Regularly inspect, supervise, train, coach, mentor, and lead security personnel
  • Measure performance using data driven reporting, dashboards, and applicable Key Performance Indicators (KPI) (Monthly, Quarterly, Annually)
  • Security systems administrator. Manages and troubleshoots Security systems and software including but not limited to, Access Control, Identity management, CCTV, Incident Reports, Badge fabrication, Electronic Key Management, Mobile Communications, Threat Detection, Duress Mechanisms, and the Global Security Emergency Notification system.
  • Manages the global security inbox responding to all inquiries that require follow-up or actions.
  • Timely reviews of security incident reports determining when an incident requires an internal investigation or escalation to corporate investigations team. 
  • Conduct assigned investigations.
  • May lead one or more major projects in support of strategic priorities.

  • Identify risks and threats which may impact the organization.
  • Excellent team building and leadership skills.
  • Contribute to the development and facilitation of Security Awareness Training (In person and online).
  • Support the Security Director in ensuring full compliance with and updating, as needed, the Corporate Physical Security Policy, Internal Control Standards, and Standard Operation Procedures (Post Orders).
  • Ensures that the day-to-day service level commitments and strategic components of the program are met.
  • Conduct periodic testing of security procedures and systems.
  • Will be responsible for collaborating with vendor account manager and ensure contingent workers are following Carestream’s contractual procedures and processes. 
  • Will have 10+ security contingent workers aligned to this position.

Required Skills & Education:

  • Minimum 5 yrs. of relevant work experience in Corporate Security Operations Management, threat analysis, and crisis management.
  • Proven record of complex problem solving and decision-making ability.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively track and prioritize responsibilities in a high-pressure environment.
  • Must be experienced with all types of security incidents, be able to work independently of supervision and work well with local, state, and federal law enforcement.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current security and emergency response techniques, issues, equipment, procedures, and security threats.
  • Experience with management of risks and controls for security processes.
  • Strong analytic and writing skills; must be an excellent writer and briefer and comfortable dealing with senior executives.
  • Ability to manage situations of catastrophic failure or of an elevated risk and critical nature.
  • The position will travel as needed to other company sites.
  • Candidate must be available to work outside normal shift schedule on an as needed basis and must be accessible 24/7 for emergency and critical response.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with multi-site international company a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or related experience preferred, with more advanced, graduate-level education a plus.
  • Proficiency in Security based IT Technology and tools. SQL knowledge a plus.
  • Experience with project management a plus (i.e., taking an idea from initial scoping through to delivery and adoption).

Work Environment:

Traditional Office Environment:  This position is primarily an office setting with standard temperature and humidity controls, moderate to light noise, fluorescent lighting, primarily sitting with standing desks available, extensive computer and keyboard use, etc.
