Position Summary:

The role has a balance of IT strategy and execution responsibilities. The role is accountable for ensuring all IT services required by the Carestream Sales & Marketing business are delivered to specification (i.e., requirements, timeliness, and cost). The role works with the Director of Sales Operations and the Director of Marketing to understand the business strategy and priorities and then plans technology projects and programs that enhance business value. Additionally, the position plays the role of an application solution architect, particularly as it relates to the needs of the sales and marketing business. This includes consulting and providing direction on business processes, best practices, industry standards, and architecture principles/design of related capabilities in systems supporting Sales & Marketing operations.

The role is accountable for managing the applications that support the Sales & Marketing Business. Applications included are eCommerce, Carestream public website, and Sales & Marketing and Service Asset Portal.

The role is accountable for ensuring application integrity, compliance with corporate standards, and SLA achievement. This role requires coordination with cross-functional IT teams, central and regional business stakeholders, and across multiple vendor partners involved in project implementations and support for the public website, eCommerce, and Customer Facing applications.

You will learn how various IT applications play an important part in understanding the eCommerce business processes and owns the design and solutioning of the business requirements across various customer-facing applications. You will have the responsibility for leveraging the solution across the company and providing consulting on best practices. The role ensures that our vendor partners are solutioning requirements correctly, testing thoroughly and you would consult on challenging incidents and change requests. You will ensure the solution will not compromise the production environment before the deployment of changes.

The work:
• Ensure overall success of small to medium and complex to large-scale eCommerce and customer-facing applications and portals, focusing on the client relationship, project delivery, resourcing, and overall program health
• Manage day to day on-shore and off-shore project teams during the project lifecycle
• Manage day to day off-shore support teams
• Identify and pursue follow-on project opportunities
• Plan and estimate delivery work, focusing on project milestones, resource planning (both on-shore and off-shore), scope, and budget
• Manage business requirements, change requests, and project ideation
• Manage and contribute to solution plan definition
• Identify, manage, and track key dependencies, issues, and risks
• Contribute to the ongoing development of solution/program offering approaches, methodologies, techniques, and business development tools

Required Skills & Education:

• 8+ years of full lifecycle implementation experience using various SDLC methodologies,
including Waterfall and Agile
• 5+ years of experience leading the successful delivery of web and eCommerce projects
• 3+ years of experience delivering projects which have integrated a number of the following
capabilities: ERP, CRM, Order Management Lifecycle, Search, Web Content Management, Digital
Asset Management
• Experience in vendor management, IT relationship management/IT strategy or equivalent:
• Participating in developing/understanding business strategy, with a preference in the
medical device/products industry
• Aligning IT strategy with business strategy
• Developing and executing IT roadmaps that enable business strategy
• Experience in applications strategy, development, and support or equivalent
• Experience with managing outsourced operations
• Experience working in a global team with international customers' differences in language, time zone, local requirements, data privacy, regulatory requirements, etc.
• Experience in dealing with executive leaders and clients at all levels within a company
• Experience with IT application change management
• Familiarity with software development life cycle methodology
• Broad experiences in business and technical aspects of IT work
• Experience adapting and changing to take on new roles
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Desired Skills:

Bonus Points If
• Hands-on experience with web and eCommerce (SAP Hybris, Sitecore CMS/EXM/DAM or equivalent), conceptualizing, designing, building, and deploying solutions; extensive experience with targeted platforms a plus
• Knowledge of best practices in all areas of eCommerce including Catalog Management, Product Merchandising, Inventory Availability, Shopping Cart and Checkout, Order Management, Search and Guided Navigation, SEO, Personalization, Returns Management, Customer Service
• Experience with multi-country rollouts
• Strong understanding of PCI/PII security requirements
• Strong knowledge of project management methodology including the ability to develop detailed work plans and specifications, identify and resolve issues, manage risk, and run team
