Position Summary:

Due to internal promotion, Carestream is hiring a Shipping Coordinator for its 1049 Ridge Road Manufacturing facility. Pay rate is $17.00/hr and benefits that begin your first day of employment. 

Position Responsibilities:

• Shipping Coordinator primarily picks product for outbound shipments

• Follow all safety guidelines (zero safety incidents).

• Adhere to Carestream Values.

• Maintain a high level of quality (zero defects)

• Attend morning market each day

• Maintain customer order integrity.

• Follow all standard operating procedures

• Interface with Distribution Coordinator and air bench associates.

• Pick product for outbound shipments

• Over pack material in accessory boxes

• Print product enclosed labels for cartons / outer packaging for each shipment

• Weigh and band pallets as needed

• Signs off on all shipping documentation and applies paperwork to products to be shipped. 

• Process non-SAP outbound shipments

• Label all shipments in compliance with domestic or export requirements.

• Physically move product to the dock for shipment.

• Put away product once received into inventory

• Uses banding tools and over pack boxes to assure proper packaging of accessory items

• Uses pallet jacks, hand carts, scales, torque wrenches, power drills, and packing tape to crate/pack product

• Flexible work hours as needed (6am-4:30pm)

• Available to work overtime as needed to support the business (occasional need to work on Saturday)

Required Skills & Education:

• Power Truck License (sit down, stand drive)

• Must maintain a high level of safety and quality

• Ability to lift and bend repeatedly and stand for long periods of time

• Comfortable working on computers / systems

• Ability to multi-task & work in a stressful environment

Education /Experience:

• High School Diploma

Desired Skills:

• Some SAP skills/knowledge

• Understand Kan Ban process

• MS Word and Excel skills
