Currently, we are looking for passionate Senior Development Engineer that would like to join our Windsor, Colorado team.

The Senior Development Engineer will collaborate with global manufacturing and research sites to lead and coordinate development activities for new products/processes.   In addition, this person will work with business development teams to assess new product opportunities. 

The successful candidate for this role will use appropriate project management, troubleshooting, lean manufacturing, and experimental design tools to drive product, process, and quality improvements throughout the product life cycle.

Carestream Colorado EPT Rules

Carestream, in compliance with Colorado EPT Rules is offering a very competitive salary of $90-135K as well as an Annual Incentive Plan. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range and benefits may be modified in the future. Required Skills & Education:

  • BA or BS in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or similar. 
  • Preferred advanced degree in one of the above disciplines
  • Experience level:  5+ years in production and/or product development environment 
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States
  • Required Background:
    • Manufacturing product engineering
    • Manufacturing process engineering
    • Product and/or process development
    • Technical writing competency and data analysis
    • Program management

Desired Skills:

    • Materials property characterization and manipulation
    • Knowledge of fundamental laboratory analytical techniques
    • Web coating technology and formulation
    • Experience with dispersions, latexes, polyethylene terephthalate and similar materials
    • Six Sigma Black Belt certification
    • Project management certification
