Position Summary:

Member of the Supply Chain and Logistics team in charge of reviewing and planning the demand for Spare Parts and cooperating with SP Manufacturing Planners to ensure coverage of the SP needs. Highly analytical, the ideal candidate has the ability to perform regular statistical analysis of the SP sales/utilization levels and actively manage the SP inventory levels in light of the supply lead team in order to ensure to meet the SP demand.

The SP planner shall actively liaise with the WW service parts planners, service engineering, internal and external suppliers, warehouses, logistics team, customer service and other back-office functions to effectively coordinate the optimal replenishment of the Spare Parts for LARC Region.

Position Responsibilities:

•    SP Inventory review and management in order to build the appropriate level of SP inventory at regional level. 
•    Build aggregate supply plans to support sales and inventory and service level targets 
•    Build item level replenishment plans to include evaluation of supply constraint to cover aggregate and item level plans 
•    Understand supply and demand risks and opportunities to forecast inventory level 
•    Drive the regional SP inventory performance reviews and document risks, opportunities and gaps 
•    Review best replenishment process at item level and adapt it to effective need for parts based on usage and SKU inventory turns- calculating non stock items, reorder point, safety stock. 
•    Identify, track and share any deviation to plan (slow moving inventory, overstock and short dated products), understand the financial impact and take appropriate actions to avoid scrapping 
•    Achieve KPI : inventory and service levels and slow moving inventory 
•    Track products by serial number along the supply chain as requested 
•    Reconcile aggregate and item level demand forecast 
•    Monitor daily demand, review SP allocation to customer orders daily; manage reservations, provide accurate estimated availability dates 
•    Identify any availability risk, build recovery/contingency plans and communicate proactively to the business 
•    Track and measure internal and external suppliers’ performances 
•    Expedite all priority service parts orders working with the entire Supply Chain process including any required approvals 
•    Understand any supply constraint and assist in prioritizing customer orders 
•    Cooperate with COS/BOC to support COS communication to customers on estimated delivery dates and other potential changes to orders 
•    Work together with parts planners for purchase order placement (quantity required and method of shipment) 
•    Place emergency orders with internal and external suppliers 
•    Follow up on purchase orders placed and ensure they are received with priority at the regional warehouse 
•    Support new parts materials set-up in SAP in conjunction with global SP Planners
•    Support spare parts materials discontinuation, source of supply change or exceptions handling 
•    Drive inventory and cycle time improvements 
•    Monitor inbound planning to ensure prioritization of most urgent orders
•    Correct processing of SP returns
•    Follow through outbound shipments with Logistics to effective POF to parties

Required Skills & Education:

  • Bachellor Degree as Industrial Engineer, Systems Engineer, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Businesses or Commerce, Administration, etc.
  • 3 years experience in a similar position
  • Intermediate English Level (B2) written and spoken

Main Skills & Competencies

  • Able to handle big excel files and perform statistical analysis
  • Effective handling of the information flow with the key operational contacts, internal and external
  • SAP Order to Cash knowledge, Advanced Excel user (pivot, look up, logical formulas)
  • Fluent in English both spoken and written; knowledge of French for Canadian customers is a plus
  • Lean and 6 Sigma oriented with a good knowledge of main quality tools (process map, root cause analysis) – 6 sigma certification is a plus
