Position Summary:

This role leads the analytical and operational backbone of the marketing function, combining marketing operations discipline with strong financial oversight and market insight generation. The position is responsible for managing core marketing processes, budget governance, purchasing workflows, reporting infrastructure, and content operations, while also translating marketing performance, customer engagement, and market data into actionable business recommendations. The ideal candidate brings a strong financial and analytical foundation, with the ability to evaluate spend effectiveness, identify trends, connect market signals to commercial opportunities, and improve decision-making across marketing and sales. This person should be equally comfortable managing operational detail and stepping back to assess performance, ROI, competitive movement, and resource allocation.

Position Responsibilities:

I. Marketing Operations & Process Excellence

 • Lead and optimize core Marketing Operations processes, tools, and workflows to improve consistency, speed, and execution quality across the marketing team.

 • Standardize ways of working across key marketing activities by documenting, updating, and maintaining SOPs, governance practices, and operating cadences.

 • Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and execution risks, and implement improvements that increase organizational effectiveness and accountability.

 • Support cross-functional coordination across marketing, sales, finance, and external vendors to ensure initiatives move forward efficiently and on plan. Budget Management & Financial Oversight

• Own end-to-end tracking of the marketing budget, including purchase orders, invoices, accrual visibility, spend pacing, and budget reconciliation.

• Provide clear monthly budget reporting and forward-looking visibility into spend versus plan, identifying risks, tradeoffs, and opportunities for reallocation.

• Partner with marketing leadership to improve financial discipline in investment decisions and ensure resources are aligned to strategic priorities.

• Evaluate marketing spend with a performance and ROI mindset, helping the team make better decisions about where to invest, reduce, or optimize.

• Manage purchasing workflows and related operational follow-up with accuracy, timeliness, and strong controls. Analytics, Reporting & Business Insight

• Own recurring marketing analytics and reporting processes, ensuring data is consolidated, reliable, and decision-useful.

• Analyze marketing performance, engagement metrics, funnel indicators, and market data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities across upstream and downstream activities.

• Build, maintain, and continuously improve central dashboards that provide visibility into business performance, budget utilization, campaign impact, and market activity.

• Translate data into practical insights and recommendations that support marketing strategy, sales enablement, business intelligence, and resource prioritization.

• Synthesize brand awareness, engagement, and performance metrics into clear executive-ready reporting with implications, not just observations. Market Intelligence & Commercial Support

• Monitor relevant market dynamics, customer trends, competitive activity, and industry developments to help the team understand the external environment and adjust priorities accordingly.

• Connect internal performance data with external market signals to support more informed planning, positioning, and investment decisions.

• Contribute analytical support for strategic discussions related to market opportunity, campaign effectiveness, content performance, and commercial execution.

• Manage industry reporting requirements, including quarterly AdvaMed reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and structured insight delivery. 

Required Skills & Education:

• Bachelor´s degree in Finance, industrial engineering, accounting, actuary or business administration Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, track spend, and assess investment effectiveness with discipline and precision

• Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and turn findings into business recommendations

• Good understanding of market dynamics, including competitive movement, customer behavior, and commercial implications for marketing strategy

  •  5-7 Years of relevant work experience
